Reve Image 1.0, codenamed "Halfmoon," is a new AI image generator that delivers high-quality results, potentially outperforming established tools like Midjourney and Flux, at a fraction of the cost.

Operates on a credit-based system: users receive 100 free credits upon signup, with additional credits priced at $5 for 500 generations, making it significantly more affordable than competitors like Midjourney and Ideogram, whose subscriptions start at $8 per month.
Demonstrates strong prompt adherence, visual aesthetics, and typography handling, generating high-resolution images across various artistic styles, from photorealistic renderings to abstract art.
Offers 20 free generations per day, providing users with ample opportunity to test and utilize the service without immediate financial commitment.
Grants users ownership rights over their generated content, contrasting with services like Recraft, which claims ownership of outputs generated under free plans.
Despite its impressive performance and user-friendly policies, limited information is available about the model's architecture, development team, and the legal intricacies of its service.

Google has begun rolling out new AI features for Gemini Live, allowing it to interpret live video feeds and screen content in real-time. These capabilities, part of Google's "Project Astra," enable users to interact with their smartphone cameras and screens, receiving instant feedback and assistance. Initially available to Gemini Advanced Subscribers under the Google One AI Premium plan, this rollout positions Google ahead of competitors in the AI assistant space.

The new features allow Gemini to "see" and analyze content displayed on a user's screen or through their smartphone camera, providing real-time responses.
A Reddit user first reported the availability of these features on a Xiaomi phone, with Google confirming the rollout shortly after.
The live video functionality enables Gemini to interpret visual data in real-time, such as helping users choose colors for pottery or identifying objects.
These capabilities are currently exclusive to Google One AI Premium subscribers, reflecting Google's strategy of offering advanced AI features to its premium user base.
Samsung continues to use Gemini as the default assistant on its devices, reinforcing Google's leadership in AI assistant technology.
Google started rolling out Project Astra for Gemini to more Android users. This feature enables vision capabilities on Gemini Live. The rollout is expected to be slow and gradual as the current adoption rate is still very low.

Manny Medina, co-founder and former CEO of Outreach, has unveiled his new startup, Paid, which offers a platform designed to help AI agent developers effectively monetize their products. The company recently secured €10 million (approximately $11 million) in pre-seed funding from investors including EQT Ventures, Sequoia, and GTMFund.

Paid addresses the challenge of pricing AI agents, as traditional software pricing models like per-user or per-seat fees are unsuitable for AI-driven roles.
The platform enables AI agent providers to experiment with various pricing strategies, whether fixed or variable, while ensuring profitable margins.
By tracking agents' outputs, Paid allows companies to validate the return on investment and adjust pricing models accordingly.
Early beta customers of Paid include startups such as Logic.app, 11x, VidLab7, Artisan, and HappyRobot.
Medina emphasizes that AI agents are increasingly taking over specific roles within organizations, necessitating innovative approaches to billing and performance tracking.

💰 Now this is a future-oriented business concept right here. Not only are we talking about a solution for pricing agents that a company or individual might use like software, but we could also look at this as a potential model for fully autonomous agents to be paid as stand-alone service vendors in the digital landscape.
